This class will improve your ability to write in English. We will communicate 
using e-mail. You must have an e-mail address if you want to take this class. 
Your department will give you an address if you ask them. You must also buy the 
textbook. The textbook is available in the bookstore.

HOMEWORK
Look at Unit 3 in the textbook, "Through a window." Choose one photograph and 
write a paragraph about it. Write at least 4 sentences. Send the paragraph to me 
by e-mail.
