JimClifcorn From Ray (Bud) Stanis:

I must not miss this occasion to remember Jim Clifcorn, same class as Dave Brown and Dudley Coneely. He left GE around February of '66, a few months before graduating due to a brutal review from the unit priest...there was no talking him out of his decision....sometimes this stuff happens....only God knows why.

He immediately enlisted in the army; deployed to Viet Nam and was killed in April of '67. Per his request his funeral and burial was at GE....reinterred at Ossining when GE was sold. He was one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever met. I'm a better person for having known him.
From Larry Obrist:

I knew Jim Cliffcorn in GE but was at home when I learned of his death in aCatholic paper. He was from Dallas. His April 14, 1967 date of death was just two months prior to my entering the Army. I did reach some of his family.

I was taken up with his death and glad some of the classmates wrote of his funeral and burial @ GE. Found his grave at the Knoll. Someone said he told MM &/or family he planned to return to Maryknoll after the Army.
