Robert McGuire Ray Hill (Superior General at the time) permitted me to volunteer for the Army Airborne forces.

I served with the 82ND Airborne and Special forces, and INSCOM (overseas).

As a Paratrooper priest/Chaplain representing Maryknoll, I was honored to serve with some of the bravest individuals this country produces. No big deal on my part; but, a real honor to have been able to serve with them.

I was able to represent Maryknoll in the Army and serve my country.
