	Hi, from Anthony!

Hello Ray,

I opened on your sempix site and my eyes filled with tears, I was
bowled over with the emotion of memory. I only opened on a few of the
pictures, and it was enough to make me gasp at the beauty and scope of
your work. I intend to go through them all when I can give them my
full attention. What an awesome discovery for me! To say you have done
an awesome job on this site really doesnt tell it all. My sincere
compliments on this compendium of Maryknoll photos...an incredible
collection of photos and history! You have enough here to publish a
book, and maybe you are even working on one. Sure, I am pleased to
send you my photos, as soon as I can get your email address
clear...having a bit of trouble with it but not to worry. It would be
a great honor for me to have those photos included on your site. I
believe what I sent into Classmates was almost all I had...there may
be a few more. Thank you for this link to some of the most precious
moments of my life!

There were other old slides that I sent out, to be put on disc @ Ritz
Photo, along with the Venard ones, and that could possibly explain
strange things, or photos out of sequence.

They were taken with an Argus C3 35mm, and if any photos came out
good, it was mostly luck.

A bunch of the scenic / panoramic shots were taken from the bell
tower...off limits, but the perfect spot.

The Venard was, is, a site of great enchantment, and I tried to
capture some of that without knowing much more than how to press on
the shutter button....50yrs. later, and I am still drawn into the
magic that was, is, there.

A powerful haunting spell comes over me when I look at those photos,
transporting me back to a sense of sacredness...entranced by what was
there.

It defies my mediocre ability to explain it...if I were a poet, I
think I could probably give it a good shot.

I'm sure you and Ray know what I'm talking about.

My compliments to you both for the great job you have done archiving
the Venard's history.
